This is probably my favorite aspect of the business - I really love stones!! The more unique they are, the better I like them.

If you would like to make your new piece of jewelry extra special, you might consider a custom cut stone.

There are literally thousands of different patterns for faceting a stone. One suggestion, if this interests you, is that you select a stone of over 1 carat in size, so that the extra expense is readily visible. The normal cost for a custom faceted stone starts at $50 plus the cost of the rough stone.

If you want a piece of jewelry that takes a cabochon, you can also help pick out where the stone gets cut from on the slab. I have over 100 pounds of various rough material for cabbing. Once you decide what stone you want, I'd be happy to email you a couple of images, and let you pick out the area you'd like your stone cut from!!
